Today is Matt’s birthday

Today is Matt’s birthday,
but instead of a big bash,
he’ll be buried under files,
as he preps for a court clash.

So I’ve written him this ditty—a show of loving support.
May this rhyme bring him luck, for his big day in court.

He’s got not one case to argue, but back-to-back: TWO.
And that is a feat that he’s long yearned to do.

So join me in wishing him well in his prep.
I’ll be in the gallery that day, adding my pep.

It promises to be drama.
True theatrics in the plenty.
