PODCAST RECOMMENDATIONS FOR LAW STUDENTS
Dear 1L,
When you get tired from reading—and you will this year—you’ll want to have some go-to podcasts to turn to.
-That way, you can keep learning even when your eyes simply cannot read another word.
And if you commute to and from law school, podcast-listening may even be a game changer for you.
But with so many law-related podcasts to choose from, where do you begin?
I’m working on coming up with more substantive recommendations for you, but here are a few to start:
🔹 1: Law School Toolbox podcast — well-rounded, talking about everything from law-school exams to what you should wear; I’d start here.
🔹 2: Law to Fact — excellent for learning legal theory; you might save until once law school starts.
🔹 3: How I Lawyer — Check out episodes 29, 31 in particular.

Additional Titles to be explored:
4: ABA Law Student podcast
5: Above the Law: Thinking Like a Lawyer
6: Personal Jurisdiction

🗳️ What would you add & why?
Any information or recommended favorite episodes would be especially helpful.
Thank you so much in advance!
Fondly,
💌 Amanda
P.S. Special thanks to Jonah Perlin , Gregory Parker , and Jonathan Koehler for their assistance. All are “must follows” for incoming law students!
