Personal Branding

The personal-branding gurus tell me it’s time for a reintroduction, and Saturdays are a good day for it.

Here it goes.
___

My first 14 years, I trained as a competitive gymnast. I thrived.

In 9th grade, I topped out at 4’10” & lost my nerve. I quit.

In 10th grade, I attended a prestigious boarding school and got the highest GPA in my class.

In 11th grade, I got kicked out (drinking). 🤷🏻‍♀️ I resumed public high school.

In 12th grade, I got in “early action” to my first-choice college. (Phew.)

Freshman year, I feared my first-choice college wasn’t a fit.

Sophomore year, I grew to 5’4” and decided my college-fit fears were correct.

Junior year, I escaped abroad, splitting my time btw Japan and Switzerland.

Senior year, I skipped college graduation to wait tables at a restaurant in Newport, RI.

What’s next? Stay tuned.

What’s your early story?

Fondly,
💌 Amanda
