Dear 1L

I just wanted to say that I am thinking of you. This is such a daunting time. I recall feeling like the rest of the world was going on without me—on their merry, holiday way.

I was cooped up all day in a studio apartment, studying.

Many of us on here remember our 1L falls well. Even though it was a long time ago, it was such an intense time of life. There are days from 1L fall seared into memory.

We are all pulling for you. You are doing something noble. We, at least, think that it is a noble field, the law. And you are working hard toward learning the craft. It is very important work you are doing.

Long, fun holiday break coming up so soon.
