Celebrating Dear 1L’s Birthday
I’m celebrating Dear 1L’s birthday today. And while I missed my sales goal by 50 books, I am feeling good:
▪️ I reached 1,450 books for the year—a HUGE jump of 47 copies since 6 days ago, when I posted an offer to send a free book to 3 incoming 1Ls.
At first, I was embarrassed when only two incoming 1Ls took me up on my free book offer.
But I was surpirsed by how many lawyers and law students sought to enter my giftaway so THEY could give a book to an incoming 1L (but they didn’t know of a 1L to send it to)!
So here are my 3 questions:
1️⃣ Do you know how I might set something up for others to giftaway copies of my book and get credit/recognition somehow (without adding too much logistical work)?
—Please fire away. No idea is dumb!
2️⃣ Are you interested in gifting a copy of my book to a 1L?
—I may be able to figure out a system.
3️⃣ Are you an incoming 1L?
I’ve got:
