Dear 1L,

Before you send in your resume, hold yours up to light. 

Then assess. For OUR eyes, what’s the sight?  

Is it just one wall of text?

Is there white space, for rest?

    ✏️  Is there any white space at all???

You may not grasp it yet,

But, past 40, many do get:

Far-sighted. 

Very much so, for some.

Assume your Reader is one.

And, even with glasses on,

Some reading’s no song,

Tiny fonts are too small, 

They engender appall,

Some substance so dense, 

It makes little sense.

Thus to you, I say this, 

Give ALL Readers bliss.

Please, please, pretty please,

We crave a read-with-ease.

You can’t make your case,

With so little white space.

Too much content’s not good.

Add more white space, you should.

We are your weary Reader.

And today, I’m our pleader:

OCI’s hard enough.
