A Special Easter Gift
This means so much to me. A mom with a pre-law student sent this to me. (Her daughter starts law school in the fall, and mom has approved this post.) She wrote:
“Working on my daughter’s Easter basket. I thought I would send this to you and make you chuckle.
. . . I think I’m going to read it first 🙂.”
Me:
AWWW. What a joyous gift to receive.
Thank you!!! 🙏🏻

🔹 I also got a kick out of another message she sent later, which I share b/c I don’t want you to be intimidated by my book’s size!
She wrote:
“At first when I saw the book, I was like ‘oh my goodness do I even wanna open it,’ but then I realized that the writing was a little bit big and there were some spaces and I thought, ‘I can do this.’ Lol.”
👉 The book is long only because it has a big font with extra white space for taking notes.
(I also wanted the font to be big enough for ME to read, and I wear a +2.5!)

P.S. I LOVE MY PARENTS GROUP!!
I realize I’ve never talked about it on LinkedIn, but in Sep 2021 I started a free FB group: “Parents of Law Students est. Sept. 2021.” (I must have been feeling very literal that day.)
I was a clueless parent craving answers to help my daughter back then, during the pandemic when we were dealing with an at-home/remotely proctored LSAT.
There were fewer than 5 of us moms at the start.
Now there are 2.5K+ members!
—I have not promoted the group at all.
—Growth was 100% organic through word of mouth.
—That’s because it’s such a fantabulous group for parents!!!
